I love making these elm serving platters, the wood is hard to come by but if you can find the right piece then the grain will tell you where to find the otters … you simply have to tease them out.
These were all commissioned as gifts , one even supported a wedding cake. I like to think that they're working for their living and not just hanging on a wall.
